Estimate paint for the walls of one rectangular room. Ceilings, trim and primer are excluded. Enter the coverage from your chosen paint label; the default is an example, not a product guarantee.
Measure the room
Use internal dimensions for a rectangular room, with a consistent wall height. Add other wall shapes separately. Openings are subtracted once. The ceiling and trim are not included.
Choose product assumptions
Enter coverage for one coat from the chosen label and the required coat count. The illustrative defaults produce 6.6 litres. Primer needs its own calculation.
Understand the result
The estimate is a planning quantity, not an assurance of coverage or a purchase-size recommendation. Changing units converts existing physical dimensions and coverage; US gallons are not imperial gallons.
